  1. I'm happy to give you all an update on the fellow you knew as "Petey", who is actually my guy, "Delano". After being found & brought home from your lovely kitty cottage, he has spent much time sleeping on my bed & giving me kitty kisses. He has greeted all the other pets in our house with mild mannered equanimity & has allowed much curious sniffings.
He's eating like a champion & getting a little spoiled by my friends, one who brought us all turkey soup, saying:" I used very little salt, so that your animals can have a taste, too!"
He tricked us last night, & went for a short walk-about, after managing to open the bedroom door while I was walking my dog & then jumping right over her back as we came through the front door! He checked the area for changes (doubtlessly "marking" his arrival back home & putting the world On Notice) and returned very shortly. He seemed very content!
He has been just hanging out all day, not even interested in what's going on outside, despite an opened window on this Spring-like day. I think he just needed to reassure himself that all was as he thought it should be.
I can't thank you all enough for taking such good care of my wayward fellow.
He's now wearing a break-away collar w/his name on it, though I'm pretty sure he'll break-it-away, knowing him.
Next move: get him a WORKING micro-chip!
    Thank you, again!
