Our Companions Animal Rescue is a Connecticut based animal welfare organization. We were founded in 2002 upon receiving a gift of 43 acres of land in Ashford, CT for the purpose of building New England’s first domestic animal sanctuary.
Our governing principle is to do the right thing for animals, regardless of the challenge or the cost. What that means is we go to extraordinary lengths to help animals in need today while providing programs that prevent animals from becoming homeless tomorrow.
